All good things must come to an end. Today is our last Tuesday with Nicole. But weep not, fellow art fans! Nicole still exists and still does art AND you can still get her to do art for you. Details to follow after the video. The video! Let’s get right to it. Nicole finishes strong by sketching out a climatic scene from this month’s featured campaign Shadowrun – Into The Breach.
Yes, I can say that I’ve been there. But it involved a young red dragon and an infinite bucket of KFC. Don’t ask. Anyway, remember when I mentioned that you can still get her to do art for you? Here’s what she had to say on the subject:
Oh and I do take commissions- I have an estimate sheet on my blog on the side panels if you’re ever interested in character illustrations. I haven’t put up a price for a group shot, but I’m working on that too.
Nicole, our thanks go out to you. You shared your wonderful art with all of us and we hope that when you’re making it big you remember us fondly and don’t mind too much when folks say ‘I knew about her back back in the day when I saw her art on Obsidian Portal!’

Obsidian Portal is the award winning Online Campaign Management System for tabletop role-playing games. It’s free to use, it can be accessed from any web browser and it's built from the ground up for gamers by gamers.
We host a huge community of tabletop RPG players who are all looking to get the most out of their tabletop gaming experience. You play your campaign and we help you manage it. It’s that simple.
Good-bye, Nicole, thanks for everything!]
Does that sound like my group? Oh good sweet merciful prograsms YES!
They have a trademark on SNAFUs. This Shadowrun run sounds almost exactly like one they flubbed in the Renraku arcology that ended with the whole group thrown in jail and ID’ed. Total disaster of a run.
BTW, the endless KFC bucket reminds me of an item my old Bonegnawer Theurge Fangface once tried. He was a KFC junkie, especially loving that gravy of theirs. So he tried to make a gravy elemental (by smushing together a turkey spirit and a water elemental. It didn’t work). He gave up after that failure and went on to make a KFC bucket that would never run out of food, but all he got out of it was a bucket that spat out dead wet sparrows. He was sad. (But those sparrows did keep him alive once he got a taste for them).

It’s fantastic! An honor to be the last feature as well – though that is indeed sad news.
Nice pencil ‘stache.

Best of Luck Nicole, I’ve enjoyed all of your artwork and look forward to seeing your career move upward & onward, thanks for sharing your talents with us.

Oh man, I could use an endless bucket of KFC right now! Especially if it came with a side of endless bucket of mac n’ cheese! But hopefully no dead sparrows in either bucket.
Also, since we’re sharing our awkward moments and ‘everything went wrong’ experiences of table-top gaming I have to add mine, which sadly, I instigated:
During my first rpg campaign (in the Accordlands), one of our sessions took us to an iconic situation of a hallway with a multitude of closed doors in an abandoned, creepy house outside of the city. I can’t remember what or who we were tracking, but it had something to do with cultists. Seeing as how the group was bored after being 1 hour into the session without a battle, I proposed a horrible/wonderful idea to help pick up the mood. ‘Hey, let’s open the doors all at once!’, I said. It was ridiculous how everyone eagerly jumped on bored with this proposal. It didn’t end too well: 2 people opened the door to a room full of cultists, 1 person discovered the kitchen and I, well, discovered the very primitive bathroom (to put it nicely) and ended up doing nothing but vomiting for three turns while trying to run away. Not one of my better decisions.
Again, thank you so much everyone. This has been a wonderful experience and I must say that Obsidian Portal has been the friendliest and most supportive online community I’ve ever been a part of. I’ll still be around OP and I’ll let everyone know about any new artistic ventures.

Another great video, and great piece of art! That sounded like a pretty memorable adventure. It’s too bad that we have to see these videos end, but I’m honored to have my work featured in one of the first. I wish you luck in your quest to become a famous artist!
