A well-known and longstanding request from many Basic (free) account holders on Obsidian Portal has been for an alternative method to make subscription payments. In light of this, we’re excited to announce that today, whether for annual or monthly, Adventurer or Ascendant – users can now choose PayPal as a payment method for new Obsidian Portal subscriptions!
For existing subscribers – please note that at the moment, switching to PayPal from your current credit card payments requires a bit of manual processing by support staff, and will necessitate a move to the revised pricing launched in October 2018 if you are not already at that rate. We will be continuing to work to fine tune things and ensure that no one’s subscription is altered by a swap in payment option.
