We know it’s been a while since we’ve had an update blog post so I think it’s about time we come up for some air and talk about the new hotness of Obsidian Portal and things to come. As you all know, on October 28th of this year we unveiled the newly reforged Obsidian Portal and have been working on further improving it ever since. We’ve gathered a lot of feedback from everyone and we’re happy to be such a big part of so many people’s gaming lives!
We’ve been a little slow with new features and updates lately, so I thought I’d give a quick update on some of the things we’ve been doing. There are always bugs to work on, and I just fixed two that have plagued us for a while.

In case you haven’t heard, we’ve been hard at work behind the scenes upgrading the backbone of Obsidian Portal and are nearing completion, but we need a little help first. This beta test isn’t like others we’ve had in the past either, unlike new feature tests this one will be much less focused and we’ll be asking a bit more from our volunteers here. Fear not though, for you will be rewarded!
Things have been a little slow lately in terms of feature releases, so I thought I’d pull the curtain back a little and give some insight into what we’re doing. We’re not just sitting here! Note: Some of the stuff below is fairly technical, but don’t be worried if you don’t understand it. You don’t need to understand any of this to actually use Obsidian Portal.

The campaign calendar has gotten some updates, including a much smoother creating and editing process as well as improved notifications and updates. It also has been tweaked for better web calendar integration and more. Micah gives us the low down!
