Update Post – April 20, 2021
Hello hello Portal People!
It’s that time once again, so grab your favorite beverage and settle in for a little relaxation for a few moments while I give you the latest about what’s been going on behind the proverbial scenes here at Obsidian Portal. This time around I’ll be using a cannonball style, with the updates in no particular order (there’s a reason for this, but more on that front later).
With all of that said, let’s dive right in!
Update Post – January 19, 2021
Hello Obsidian Portal!
I ended up skipping a post in the roughly 3-months (ish) cycle for updates, so I hope you are ready for some news on what has been going on behind the scenes here on OP! I’ve changed the format for these posts slightly, in an effort to make them a more friendly read (the last format came off slightly patch notes-y. This has made the post a tad longer, but offers up some more insights and readability.
And now, on to the updates!
Update Post – June 25, 2020
Hey Obsidian Portal Community.
It’s time for another update post! Last time around, we had a span of two months between updates. This time, it has been about three. I’m still looking to find that “sweet spot”, and three is kind of feeling right at the moment. There’s something about the idea of an OP “quarterly report” (of sorts) that I like, so I may stick with that going forward.
That said, if you have any comments regarding the update schedule, please feel free to let me know. These update posts are for you guys, so if you want them more or less frequently, I’m all ears. Anyway, let’s get into it!
Update Post – March 30, 2020
Greetings and Salutations Portal People!
So it has been a little bit longer than originally anticipated since my last update post (two months as opposed to the ‘closer to monthly’ setup I said I was shooting for), but I’m back, and I come bearing updates. I’ve broken things down into digestible sections as before, so this should hopefully be pretty easy to follow. I have added “[Feature]” labels at the beginning of items that are new(er) features, and “[Beta]” in cases where something has come into being a beta state.
Update Post – January 29, 2020
Hello Portal Community,
While this post is technically a bit overdue (I had originally intended to post an update in late December), the delay has enabled the list of fixes and updates to grow, and for me to add another couple of items to the list myself. This past month (give or take), I achieved a personal goal and have been granted access (and permission of course) to start doing some dev work in addition to the various community and content tasks I normally do.
