December has arrived, and the holiday season is officially in full swing. That said, the work doesn’t stop here at Obsidian Portal. So, here’s a quick peak at some of the things that are going on, or have been going on since our last update post.
Update on bugs and errors
The 500 Internal Server Errors that were occurring during attempts to edit elements on the site have been resolved. It took time to identify the root problem, but it was done, and this should not crop up anymore. The campaign-level forums are still experiencing 500 errors on editing existing topics, but this is the next target for devs now that the more widespread issue has been put to bed. Tags are also on list to be fixed.
Update on content things
Our new content contributor Jynx001 has been with us over just over a week now, and if you’ve been following the blog at all, you’ve no doubt seen his posts starting to come through. We’re tremendously excited to have him working with us and we can’t wait to see what else he has up his sleeves! He’s also putting his skills to use in other ways that will begin to see their way to the site, but we’ll have to keep that as a teaser until we get a touch closer to completion.
Help Articles and Game Systems
It’s been a little while since I’ve said much about them, but I’m still working on the Help area How To articles, and updating Obsidian Portal’s various game system entries with logos. If there’s a system you’d like to see added to Obsidian Portal’s selection, drop a line to [email protected] and let me know. I’ll fit it in as soon as I’m able to.
