Update Post – January 19, 2021

Hello Obsidian Portal!

I ended up skipping a post in the roughly 3-months (ish) cycle for updates, so I hope you are ready for some news on what has been going on behind the scenes here on OP! I’ve changed the format for these posts slightly, in an effort to make them a more friendly read (the last format came off slightly patch notes-y. This has made the post a tad longer, but offers up some more insights and readability.

And now, on to the updates!

Obsidian Portal Campaign of the Month January 2021 – Gaxim Plague

It began with the coastal cities, but it wasn’t long before it spread – moving inland at a rate that the scholars said was ‘prodigious’. They should have said terrifying. The disease is so virulent and rapidly spread that the clerics cannot keep up with the demand for cleansing. Rumors swirl that many within the faith have succumbed themselves… I shudder at the very possibility of that being true. A solution must be found, Amn must endure this Gaxim Plague – January’s Campaign of the Month! Obsidian Portal Campaign of the Month September 2020 – Star Wars – Das Erbe der Jedi-Ritter

“Star Wars – Das Erbe der Jedi-Ritter: Eine Chronik aus der New Jedi Order” (which is German for “The Legacy of the Jedi Knights: A Chronicle from the New Jedi Order”) is a long-running, beautifully-made campaign by Grand_Master_Steve, using the d20 Revised Star Wars rules set. Spanning a generation of time in the game world and a decade and a half in ours, it is the very definition of an epic tale. Draw your lightsabers, fellow Jedi – it’s time to face your destiny, an alien foe from beyond our galaxy, and a story of a long-lasting friendship that began long, long ago.
